SarahÂ
President and FounderSarah has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph with a focus in Mathematics, Physics, and Studio Arts and a Bachelor of Education from Queen's University.
With 9 years of experience running STEM outreach programs/camps, she loves what she does and teaching has always been a passion of hers. Sarah's favourite part about teaching/ training is building confidence and excitement in others and being a part of that moment when someone overcomes a challenge.
Julianna
Admin Assistant
This is Julianna's third year managing camp and she is excited to make another memorable summer! She is studying Concurrent Education in St. Catharines. She adores anything involving the arts and kids! Julianna is looking forward to this new learning opportunity and meeting everyone!

Camp ManagerI have been involved in Life Gears for 5 years now starting off as a participant, then a volunteer and now a staff member. In my free time I am a part of Girl Guides, love to bake and of course explore everything STEM! The majority of my work will be done in the Wellington North area. I can’t wait to continue to meet new friends and teach youth all about the fabtastic world of STEM!

I am a student heading into my first year at the University of Waterloo, where I will be studying my undergraduate degree in Astrophysics. This is my first summer working with Life Gears Academy and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to shape the minds of my community's youth! I love the world of STEM and I'm excited to help others discover how amazing it can be!Â

Ganesh
Camp Leader
Ganesh is a grade 11 student attending CCVI. He enjoys working with children. In his free time he likes to go outside and play volleyball. He hopes to help other people out as well as meeting new people.Â
Isabel
Camp Leader
Isabel is a third-year student at Brock University, studying concurrent education. She is excited to further her experience working with children, and hopefully making a difference! This is her first year working at a camp, and Isabel is excited to explore child education, aid, and the field of STEM.Â
Mia
Camp Leader
Mia is a highschool student attending Centennial and has attended this camp in past years. She plans to further explore computer science, digital design and environmental sciences. They enjoy working on art projects in their free time, as well as learning about nature. Mia is eager to meet new people and help campers feel comfortable while having fun!Â
