About Our Camp

  • Our goal is to create a collaborative and creative space for those who love STEM

  • Our camps run in smaller groups that don't exceed 25 campers per location (1:8 ratio at the most)

  • Camp activities are created by teachers, scientists, and community programmers

  • Each lesson involves a hands-on activity or game

  • Camp runs from 9am to 4pm (extended care available)

  • Subsidies are available upon request

    • Kortright Hills: 23 Ptarmigan Dr and Mollison Park

    • Two Rivers: 120 Huron St.

  • Time: Monday - Friday 9am - 4pm (8:30am - 4:30pm extended care for an additional $5/day)

  • Ages: 8-11

  • Cost: $175 for a 5 day week (subsidies available)

  • This camp will be run in collaboration and support of Rainbow Mentors by sharing staff and content while creating a space that is safe for queer and trans-gender youth.

Mount Forest

  • Locations:

    • July: Murphy Park for Outdoor Camps - Full Day Outside

    • August: Morning outdoors at Park (Newfoundland and Wellington St. E.) and Afternoons at The Imagination Space (257 Main St S)

  • Time: Monday - Friday 9am - 4pm (8:30am - 4:30pm extended care for an additional $5/day)

  • Ages: 8-11

  • Cost: $175 for a 5 day week (subsidies available)

  • Outdoor programs run in local parks or public areas with access to public washrooms, shelter, play structures, and forest space. These spaces are shared with the public but the group will stay together and be supervised by our staff at all times. There may not be access to running water with outdoor programming so we ask that participants bring a full water bottle.

  • Outdoor programs will run rain or shine but may be cancelled for part of the day or the full day if there is an extreme heat warning or lightning. A refund of $35/day will be offered and this will be communicated before the camp day begins.

Magic STEM

Ever felt like STEM is full of magic? This week you’ll learn some magic tricks and optical illusions with the help of STEM! On top of that, you will learn awesome science experiments!

Nature Explorers

If you think insects, animals, plants, and digging in the dirt is awesome, then this is the camp for you! This camp will be spent mostly outdoors exploring everything about nature and our Earth!

Girl STEMpowerment

Empowering young women to realize their potential and to discuss their presence in STEM fields. This is designed for anyone who identifies as a girl and who wants to come together with other girls to discuss ways that they can make a difference.

Young Engineers

Explore different types of Engineering while learning what it takes to problem solve and make inventions of their own. Join us for a week of designing and building while thinking about how we could use STEM to make improvements.

Jr. Lab Scientists

This week is filled with science experiments, fun games and activities that will spark your excitement and love for the science of chemistry and physics!


Ever wondered how the worlds of Art and STEM overlap? This week you will find out while you explore various topics and combine STEM projects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with Art!

Crafts & Games

This week is filled with fun and games inside and outside where you even get to make your own game to keep! You will also get to learn about art and create awesome crafts!

Out in The Summer

This camp is for children ages 6-11 who identify as 2SLGBTQIA. Out In the Summer offers a week of arts and outdoor activities where kids can find a safe space to be themselves. We will be exploring art through various crafts, drama activities, photography, and experimenting in making musical instruments. Kids will have an opportunity to get outside and play games and learn about nature by exploring the ecosystems areas near the river.
