Math Prep

Did you know that many students struggle during post secondary education because of their rusty math skills? A lot of us complete high school mathematics courses and then never look at it again YET professors expect us to be confident in these areas in order to understand their lessons. Let us introduce you to a tool that could help you avoid this problem.

The Mathematics Post-Secondary Preparation Package 2020 (MP3)

What is in the MP3?

A FREE resource to help you prepare to succeed in your courses (math and those that rely on math)

11 Problem Sets (mostly 5 to 10 types of problems in each)

Examples from Grade 8 Math to Calculus

Full solutions with notes and common errors to be wary of for each example

Additional practice questions with answers

Links to a video and a relevant website.

This package was originally developed in 2009 by Professor Hosh Pesotan, Professor Jack Weiner, and two University of Guelph senior math students, Sylvia Nguyen and George Hutchinson.
